How the trial works
Step 1
Create a free account
Start on the free plan, no payment details. The Library, The Nook and The Desk are yours straight away, so you can see if Myra feels right before you try Pro.
Step 2
Start your 30 free days
From the pricing page or inside the app, choose monthly or yearly Pro. The trial starts the moment you confirm, and nothing is charged for 30 days.
Step 3
Use all of it
Every Pro feature is unlocked from day one. This isn't a stripped-down demo — it's the whole toolset, working on your real book.
Step 4
Decide before day 31
Keep Pro and your subscription continues on day 31. Cancel any time in Settings → Manage billing, and if you cancel before the trial ends you pay nothing at all.
One good month with your book
Thirty days is enough to take a story from a feeling in your chest to a manuscript with pages in it — if you spend them well. Here's a shape for the month that works.
Week 1 — Build your world
Open The Attic and give your story somewhere to live: characters with wants and flaws, the places they move through, the magic or technology that bends the rules, the politics and groups that push back.
Week 2 — Find the shape
Sketch your plot in The Nook, and use Plan my book to get story beats from your own premise. By the end of the week you should know your inciting incident, midpoint and ending.
Week 3 — Write the pages
Draft in The Desk with your Attic beside you: continuity detection surfaces your own characters and locations as you write, and multiple drafts let you try a scene two ways without losing either.
Week 4 — Make it real
Export to PDF or Word, share a read-only link with a trusted reader, and check your version history to see how far the manuscript has come since day one.
Common questions
- Is the 30-day trial really the full version?
- Yes. Everything in Myra Create Pro is unlocked for the whole trial: unlimited projects, the full Attic, multiple drafts per project, exports, share links, continuity detection and Plan my book.
- Will I be charged during the trial?
- No. Nothing is charged for the first 30 days. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing at all.
- What happens when the trial ends?
- Your subscription continues at the plan you chose — $10 a month, or the discounted yearly price — and Pro stays active. If you'd rather not continue, cancel in Settings → Manage billing before day 31.
- What happens to my work if I don't continue?
- Everything you've written stays readable and safe. You drop back to the free plan, which keeps The Library, The Nook and The Desk with one draft per project.
- Can I cancel during the trial?
- Any time, from Settings → Manage billing. You keep Pro until the end of your 30 days, and you won't be billed if you cancel before then.
- Do I need a credit card?
- The trial runs through our checkout, handled by Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record. You won't be charged for the first 30 days, and cancelling before the trial ends costs nothing.
