Terms & Conditions
Last updated September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Myra Create ("Myra Create", "we", "us"), the provider of the Myra Create website and application (the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the Service.
Who can use Myra Create
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you're using Myra Create on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
What Myra Create provides
Myra Create is a subscription tool for readers and writers. The Library, The Nook and The Desk, book tracking, reflections, project notes and the writing editor with one draft per project, are free. The Attic, character and world building, along with unlimited projects and drafts, are part of the paid Myra Create Pro plan.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you've chosen. You may not reverse engineer it, resell or redistribute it, or work around its technical limits.
Your account
Keep your login details confidential. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, and for giving us accurate information and keeping it current.
Your writing stays yours
You keep all rights in the books, characters, worlds, notes and manuscripts you create. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, store, back up and display that content back to you so we can run the Service. We don't publish it, sell it, or train anything on it.
Acceptable use
You must not use Myra Create to:
- break the law, or help anyone else to;
- commit fraud or send spam;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including malware, probing, penetration testing without permission, or scraping.
AI features
Some parts of Myra Create use AI to generate suggestions, for example reflections on a book, story beats from your premise, or character summaries. These outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete, and they are not professional, legal, financial or medical advice. You're responsible for what you prompt, for checking anything you rely on, and for having the rights to any content you enter. We may filter, refuse or remove outputs, and may restrict or suspend accounts that repeatedly misuse these features. If you believe something on the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we'll review and act on it.
Our intellectual property
We retain ownership of the Service itself, the software, design, documentation and Myra Create branding. Nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to you.
Payment, subscriptions and cancellation
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Myra Create Pro starts with a 7-day free trial, then costs $10 per month or $100 per year (USD, excluding any local tax added at checkout) and renews automatically until cancelled. Full plan and feature details are on our pricing page. Billing, tax, invoicing, cancellations and refunds are handled under Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel at any time; you'll keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for. See our Refund Policy for refunds.
If your subscription ends, your work is never deleted as a result. Your characters, world entries and chapters remain in your account and readable, you simply can't add to or edit them until you subscribe again.
Service availability
We work hard to keep Myra Create running, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, don't pay for your subscription, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously break our acceptable use rules. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll warn you first. If your account is terminated you'll have a reasonable window to export your work before it's deleted.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.
Changes, law and disputes
We may update these terms; if a change is material we'll tell you before it takes effect. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger or acquisition. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
